Updates and News from the Saituni Fund
Newsletter for the friends of the Ringa School and Orphanage
Sorry for the delay in sending this newsletter but have been waiting to confirm my dates for my next visit to the school. I fly out there on 31st October and will arrive at the school on 3rd November. I will be staying in the region for about a week. During that time I will be making a more comprehensive DVD documentary, finding out more about what is needed and generally getting to know the region and transport links better. There is a way we can fly into the region and I do believe there is a reasonable guesthouse not too far away. I will check all this out while I am there and report back. These things are important if any of you wish to accompany me on any future visits.
Whilst there I hope there will be enough funding to buy a generator and a pump for the well water. These items are at the top of the priority list as there is no electricity at the school.
The crops we planted are doing well already. I look forward to seeing them.
I will bring back information on the children for those people who have sponsored.
Soon Christmas will be upon us. Please look out for fund raising ideas. These children have never had a gift at Christmas but I'm sure we can do something about that!
Thank you in advance for your support. Speak to you all again soon.
