PROGRESS REPORT

Please read this carefully so you can see where the money is going.

1. SCHOOL COMPOUND
More trees have been added on the compound mostly along the fence all round, I hope this will help in providing shade and controlling the wind (wind breaker). We have planted a total of 283 different types of trees.

2. CHILDREN
As at now we have a total of 237 pupils of different ages

Baby class44 children
Nursery52 children
Pre-unit26 children
STD I28 children
STD II23 children
STD III28 children
Total201 children

3. TEACHERS
Kindly since we have 201 pupils, they need a proper care and much attention, therefore we have 9 teachers:- 2 male and 7 female. As I shared with you before, they are getting just a token at the end of the month. They are dedicated and faithful to God, handling these children needs a person with a pure heart.

This is the list of their names:-

4. SUPPORTING STAFF
Here we have one watchman who stays within the school compound. We found this a bit cheaper because we pay him Kshs. 1,500 compared with two which will need double the amount. Also we have a lady supplies the school with water 10 buckets everyday and does the preparation of porridge. She gets Kshs. 1,000

They are:-

Ben NgesoKshs. 1,500£11.77
Lilian OumaKshs. 1,000£7.85
TotalKshs. 2,500£19.62

5. FEEDING PROGRAMME
This is a very vital item but the school can't afford, it is too expensive since we don't have funds. We only provide porridge

Total Kshs 180/day

Porridge is very vital since we deal with very small kids who cannot stay for 4 hours without taking something

6. CLASSROOMS & OFFICES
Chris, the funds you gave us were used very carefully. We managed to dig the foundation for seven standard classrooms of which two are being used though not yet completed. We are trusting God for His provision. The school is in bad shape because of too much rain, our temporary buildings as you saw them are not good since we have no alternative, we still continue using them. We also trust God for permanent offices the temporary one is too small that some of us must operate under the small trees around. No proper place to keep documents and even books for the school.

7. FURNITURES
Some of the small kids are sitting on stones, we lack desks, tables and chairs for the teachers. We hope God will help us to get some, He is faithful. Kindly when you go through this report you will realize that we need funds for this work to progress well. God has been so faithful and that's why we have reached this far with the very little He provides. Bro Chris don't forget your contribution has made us to come all this far. Kindly here find the quotation for the full school uniform
